The pool complex

With 4 main pools, 3 of which are heated, the pool complex is its own aquatic kingdom. Children can paddle on inflatables along the winding lazy river or ride the water slides and twisting chute. Adults can swim, float about to their heart’s content or unwind in the Jacuzzi. The toddler’s pool even has its own slides and games. Surrounded by greenery, the poolside terraces are dotted with palms and thatched parasols for shade. Sun lovers can relax on a lounger with a refreshing drink or ice cream from the poolside bar.

At the equestrian centre, children can get to know the ponies and horses. The large paddock area with jumps is where they take riding lessons and then set out on the park’s scenic riding trail in the company of an adult. For experienced riders there are trips to the surrounding countryside and forest. Play areas on sand and grass provide a safe environment for fun and games with slides, swings and climbing frames. Karts are also available for rides around the grounds accompanied by a parent.

For adults there are 2 tennis courts, a multi-sports field for games of football, basketball and beach volleyball. Tournaments are held regularly for the whole family to compete in. For a more leisurely pursuit, try your hand at boules or enjoy a picnic on one of the immaculate lawns.

Days out

The large unspoilt sandy beaches of Marennes Plage and la Côte Sauvage are perfect for a family day at the seaside. The port city of La Rochelle should also not be missed.

The château and former farm buildings form a delightful courtyard, creating the atmosphere of a village square. Here you will find the bar restaurant, Le Carrousel. The beamed roof and ancient stone walls make this an enchanting place for a meal or drink. In high season the takeaway service offers delicious wood-fired pizza and there is another bar beside the pool area.
