More about the Czech Republic

In the hilly landscape you will find extensive forests, meadows, wheat fields and lovely lakes for water sports enthusiasts. Northwest of Prague is another area with many water sports possibilities. Here the rivers Jizera, Berounka, Elbe and Moldau come together. In the immediate vicinity of Prague is also much natural beauty to be found, such as the six kilometer long park Pruhonice. Karlstejn is one of the most famous and picturesque castles in the Czech Republic, about 30 kilometres south of Prague. You walk from the town of Budnany on the river Berounka up to the castle. Also nice for a trip is the reservoir Slapy, about 40 km south of Prague.
